CPU-Z is able to display various information about your processor, such as name and manufacturer, frequency, manufacturing process, frequency multiplier, partially determined by the "overclocking" of the processor. In addition, information about the cache of the first and second level, supported sets of commands, etc. ... Sometimes processors with the same name hide the same "stuffing" - different kernels with different stepping, capabilities, different frequencies with the same rating, produced by different Technical processes, etc. Some of this data could be obtained by examining the inscriptions on the processor cover, but they are, as a rule, reliably hidden in the system unit under the cooler and a layer of thermal paste. Therefore, the use of CPU-Z utility is much more convenient way of obtaining such information.
