Firmware instruction:
There are two archives with the firmware in the folder:
"Hong Kong QA2" - the latest available Hong Kong firmware, is close to the international one, there are Google services.

"Chinese PL5" - the old Chinese, the more recent in the network has not yet found. With it through the air you can upgrade to the latest Chinese QA6. No Google services, the firmware has its own specificity, which I wrote about in this post.

Personally, I advise on Hong Kong, but everyone decides for himself.

Four-file firmware, archive unpack and sew through one (the one is in the folder by reference).

Root:
The instruction is taken from here, but with certain adjustments. Everything you need for root is in the folder on the disk.

0. We think about the choice of firmware, if necessary, we sew either to Hong Kong QA2, or to Chinese PL5. TWRP from the link on the disk are applicable to these versions of the firmware, I can not vouch for other versions.

1. Prepare the device. We charge on 100%. We put the driver, if not yet installed (Windows usually pulls up itself, but if not, you can put it through Kies). We save to the SD-card or PC all the information that we do not want to lose when resetting. We copy the SR4-SuperSU-v2.78-SR4-20161115-automode-by-kane from the folder on the disk to the SD-card, and also copy open_gapps-arm64-6.0-nano-20170203, if you have Chinese firmware.
2. We go to the Samsung Galaxy Apps, search for Crom Services, download and apply. The loader is unlocked.
3. To avoid FRP Lock (Factory Reset Lock) go to the settings, activate the settings for the developers (to activate them, tap 5 times the assembly number in the software information).
In the settings for developers include "OEM release" and debugging via USB. Also disable remote administration of android in the security menu. Disable "find my phone" and protect the Samsung from reflashing, if enabled.
4. Before the root do hard-reset with the removal of all data accounts, after the reset is not authorized anywhere. Otherwise, one may not allow the requested files to be stitched.
5. Open the Chinese one, which is also in the folder on the disk (probably, it can also be made common, but the instruction, taken as a basis, is recommended by the Chinese, I also used it).
6. We give the tick in accordance with the screen:

In the second line, put the appropriate recovery:

For the Hong Kong firmware we take C9000-PK2-twrp-3.0.2, for the Chinese C9000-PL5-twrp-3.0.2 ..
Note: yes, PK2 and QA2 are formally different firmware versions, but the PK2 recovery is suitable for QA2, no problems arise.
7. Turn off the smartphone, put into the boot mode (by pressing the button on, home and the volume down). We connect to the PC, we wait, when one will define the device as Com. If it does not, then the firewood is crooked, you need to reinstall it.
8. Press the leftmost button below to start the firmware.
9. If you checked the box correctly, the device will not reboot after the firmware. We press the buttons on, home and both volume keys, as soon as the screen turns black - release the volume down, leaving the remaining 3 buttons squeezed.
10. If everything is done correctly, we find ourselves in a custom recovery. It's still in Chinese, do not panic. Do not click on anything and do not tick, just slip the slider.

Press this button.

Then this one.
13. Scroll down the list, select the Russian language, click the button below to apply.
14. Go back to the main menu, go to the "clean" section.
15. Choose "clear data", enter yes, after cleaning, go back and again do a wipe of data. We return to the main menu of recovery.
16. Go to the "install" section, select the source sd-card, find the archive on the map with SU and install, without putting any tick.
17. We reboot into the OS, without exposing any daws when rebooting. The device will reboot 2 times and will hang for a long time on the logo of the Samsung. Do not panic, this is normal.

For the Hong Kong firmware process is complete - we have a root and custom recovery, you can safely configure the OS for you.

For Chinese:
18. After the OS is booted up, we disconnect the device, boot up by pressing the keys on, home and the volume up.
19. We include Russian in the same way as before.
20. We put google services the same way as they put the root before that.
21. We reboot into the OS.
22. If after restarting it starts cyclically producing an error in the spirit of "Google Apps Services / Setup Wizard is stopped" and does not start up on the desktop, we do the following: open the curtain, click on the settings icon, go to the application section, turn on system applications, search for Google Play Services and wizard settings, we set all permissions. After that, similarly, we set all permissions for all other Google services (by default there are no permissions, and these applications fail with an error.

Everything is ready, we use the device.

How to make games go into FullHD resolution:
One of the possible ways is to go through the root-explorer or another file manager to the address /data/data/com.name of the publisher of the game / shared_prefs / edit the settings file by putting the required values. But some games (for example, the hearthstone of the latest version) ignore this file after a reboot.

Another way is to manually add build.prop (or download BuildProp editor application from the market), change ro.product.device and ro.product.model parameters in both cases to SM-G930V, disguising the device under Galaxy S7 on snap-820, after Then reboot. This will not lead to negative consequences, but most games will be launched in FullHD (if running in the old resolution, delete the config file or reinstall the game).

Perhaps there are other ways, but editing build.prop seemed to me the easiest.
